lyrics

Step. Move one foot, then slowly move the next.
This pacing is wearing at my brain, yet still I tread.
I'm aware, of all my words filling up this room,
and aware that they matter not to you, yet still I write
of how I used to hold it in, then push it down to do it again when I was younger.
I didn't understand the harm, effects and the cause that it would hold until I got older.

Now everyone's watching
At least I can tell myself they are
But nobody speaks a word
we're all just too scared to watch ourselves
Nobody wants to take the time to think just why they always think the things they're thinking.
Everyone sees it, but nobody says a word
Because it's never easy, admitting we're not who we thought we were
Now I'm filling up the white space
Forever changing my position in this room
and I'm lost without you all to say "there's nothing left to prove."

Now everyone wants to talk about it....
